There is such a slippery slope when it comes to patent leather and handbags. While I allow more wiggle room for patent leather shoes, I feel as though designers have to be extremely careful with their use of patent leather on handbags.
It’s not very often that I come across an Anya Hindmarch bag that has me as conflicted as this one does. My jerk reaction when first coming across the bag was that I really liked it. But then Gucci Tote Bag, as I looked closer at the bag wholesale coach handbags, zoomed in a bit, I was a little skeptical of the amount and color of patent leather that is used.
The Anya Hindmarch Byron Patent Leather Clutch is beautiful, there is no doubt about that customized soccer jerseys, but I do think that perhaps a different material would have made this clutch a must-have. Clearly, the slightly oversized clutch (W – 13″, H – 8″) is made of orange patent and what you don’t see in this photo is the removable gold-tone chain strap. I like this option. The pleat detailing caught my eye and I think it would be a great statement to every outfit you might pair it with. Opening up the clutch and you will see beige suede; I always appreciate suede lining. Yet, even at the end of this post, I’ve come full circle. There are plenty of things I like, but I am caught up on the patent leather. Too much or just right? Buy through Net-a-Porter for $650.
