Mad Men Style

WhatIWore: Thank God Mad Men is coming back to AMC on August 16th. I am IN LOVE with the show— just when I hear the first few notes of the opening music, I just about go crazy! And the style, well, its just to die for. I constantly reference the 1950s housewife look that the costumers so excellently capture with character Betty Draper.

Well, I’m just flipping out right now because Mad Men and Banana Republic are joining forces and holding a contest for the best Mad Men style with the prize being a walk on roll on the show.  I immediately decided a) yes I will enter b) I will win! c) I will play a one night love interest of Don! Or maybe Betty’s partner in a game of Bridge? A lousey new secretary at Sterling Cooper?

Time to get out the costume jewels, scarves and hats!
